LUNCHEON MEETING JUNE 20, 2012
Today we had the pleasure of welcoming District Governor Ted Eldredge, who led the ceremony of swearing in the new Board of Directors and our President for the new Rotary year, Fran Markowitz. Good luck to all and a warm thank you to Keith for his leadership this year. He received a plaque and special pin. We recognize Dan and Susan for two years of perfect attendance, Keith for perfect attendance this year, and Fran for 19 years of perfect attendance. We received the new banner sent by International President Tanaka with the theme PEACE. Dave raffled off a bottle of Chilean wine, followed by the 50/50 raffle, Happy Bucks and the Four Way Test Guests today were Rie, our exchange student from Japan, Stefano Miranda, Fran’s daughter and granddaughter, and Katherine F. Lapidoth, an excellent candidate for membership, here for the third meeting.
